Children's photography

I got to spend some time with my son today. I bought some props and needed a model. He will always be the most handsome little man in the world to me!

Engagement Photography

I had the privilege of photographing this amazing couple for their engagement. So excited about the way the images came out. We started out in Fayetteville, on their college campus, where the two first met. Then we moved on to a golf course. Jeremy is a pro golfer and proposed to Alley on a golf course (where they had their first date). Congratulations you two!

Personalized wedding/engagement gift

This is a piece I just finished. It is a landscape painting with engagement photographs collaged in to the clouds. These commissions make great, personal, one of a kind gifts. This one I am giving to two of my families very special friends as a wedding present.
Photographs that had personal meaning to the couple were collaged in. This piece is acrylic on panel. It is a two foot by four foot. Acrylic.

DIY diaper cake for baby shower

A friend of mine is having a baby and her theme was giraffe. Well, there were no giraffe decorations to be found so I found myself venturing to hobby lobby where I found pre painted wooden giraffes. Thus, I decided to make diaper cakes.

Step one, roll diapers...
I rolled them and held them in between my calves so they wouldn't unroll. I didn't want to tape them because it may ruin the diapers. I used a piece of tulle, slid it around them, and tied a knot.

Step two, wrap in ribbon of choice and hot glue.

Step three, take a small paper plate and poke a hole in the center then insert a straw or stick. This stick is what you will hit glue your animal of choice too.

Step four, hot glue animal to the straw. Then hot glue decorative grass around the animal on top of the paper plate.

Step five, insert the straw bottom I to the center of the diaper. I later went on to add fake flowers around the ribbon. Pretty easy, and a functional gift!

1 Samuel 1: 27

A friend of mine has tried for years to conceive a baby and is due with her baby girl on April. She asked that I do a scripture painting of 1 Samuel 1:27 to hang in her daughters pink and brown giraffe nursery. So I did and I also surprised her with a giraffe painting. Very excited for her blessing!
