Arkansas razorbacks

I finished two Arkansas razorback paintings for an auction in February. Perfect decor for a hog fan! 

Lilies of the valley

Finished a piece that will be auctioned off in February. I used scrapbook paper, pattern paper, and holy cards to collage in the background. I created a butterfly stencil and dry brushed black butterflies, and finished by painting lilies of the valley in the foreground.

New beginnings

Completed my first painting since having my son three months ago. Calling this piece "New Beginning" ... 2013 has been a transition period for me. The butterfly represents renewal. I am continuing with collage elements that reflect Catholicism. This past year has been teaching me to rely on God and I am incorporating this aspect of my life in the works. 

Collage painting with my photographs

I just recently had my second baby and had an extreme amount of pictures. I made myself this outdoor ocean painting and collages in the photographs. 

Not the best picture of the painting but its the best I could do with its still being wet!

Sketch of my daughter

I had a little free time this morning to get some sketching done. I haven't been as able recently to take time for art. Between being nine months pregnant and having an almost two year old, me time seems nonexistent.
